This was the answer at our house.
All three were American Standards.
The one downstairs had a 2" diameter flush valve, and would clog.
The two upstairs are Cadet 3 with 3" flush valves....
Replaced the one downstairs....voila !!!

It is easier to flush two navel size oranges than a grapefruit, flush when halfway and again.
Plumbers seem to like the Toto toilets for flushing. Roly

I do that most days to get the stink out quick. Initial drop flush hit the fan
