Bridgewood planer - Heaalan - 04-28-2021
I have an old bridgewood planer model BW-12, the feed roller chain stuck and broke 2 of the sprockets . it looks like it was made or distributed by Wilke Machinery who is out of business? anyone know where I can get parts for my planer?

My first search would be McMaster-Carr or Grainger..
Count the teeth, measure the bore, find out what size chain it is and then start hunting.

I'm pretty sure Bridgewood planers were manufactured in Taiwan by Geetech. They also manufactured past and present models for Jet, Powermatic, Grizzly, and many more, so I would start by looking at similar planers from those companies.

I don't think they're selling Bridgewood or Yorkcraft any longer but might be a parts source.

I had an 8 in long bed York jointer sold by Wilke. The manual that came with is was the Delta manual with the name blocked out on the picture of thee jointer. The I looked up Delta part numbers, and all those that I checked were exactly the same. You never know. If you have the manual with the parts list, you may be able to cross reference parts with other common jointers. You might even just look at pictures until you see one that looks like yours.
Wilke were great to do business with. Too bad that are gone.
