delta/rockwell 6 x 48 belt sander lubrication - toolmiser - 06-25-2021 I picked up a stationary belt sander a few weeks ago for $40.00-no motor or stand. I stripped a few coats of paint and gave it a spray can paint job. I am in the process of putting it back together and am wondering where and if I should lubricate it, and if so with what. I've downloaded a couple manuals for it but nothing it mentioned of lubrication or maintenance. Worse case I am going to oil and grease where I think is necessary and deal with results if it isn't right. I know oil/grease and dust don't mix well. Thanks. RE: delta/rockwell 6 x 48 belt sander lubrication - Stwood_ - 06-25-2021 Mine had all sealed bearings on the rollers. Might oil the belt tracking do-dads so they will turn easier and keep them rust free. |
