Mini split install - MstrCarpenter - 08-18-2021 There's been a few threads re; A.C.s lately. One I replied on, I commented that some mini-splits are installed without performing a pressure test and evacuation. What are your thoughts and/or experiences with this? But I guess in much of the world it's pretty common, they are meant to be installed by unskilled workers. RE: Mini split install - fixtureman - 08-24-2021 I have a regular AC unit that I installed myself. It came precharged and the line also were precharged. It has not lost any pressure and works good. After almost 45 years of fixing them, I'll pass. |
