Nah, sometimes to have things back as original...

The caps from the family dollar store condiment bottles screw right on to a titebond bottle....just throw the bottle away, they are junk and split easily.

Back as original makes good sense...but not in this case because the original isn't good enough.

Anyone who glues enough (not necessarily with Titebond) knows a simple, quick solution to a stuck cap or blocked tip is a good solution. Of course, anyone can wash and clean glue bottle cap and tip every time before or after a glue-up job...but it ain't what most woodworkers do -- -- at least I know none who does that on a regular basis, nor is it a solution that belongs to the "should've done it years ago dept."

A trip to the dental office over broken teeth (for guys over 70) could be a good reminder why younger folks can do anything they want. :-)

I have upgraded to the super high end glue dispenser.  A worthy investment.

The Fastcap bottles, at least for the smaller ones, also clog over time, and that is partly why they sell replacement tips (for lazy people who don't want to clean things).

The good thing about the Fastcap is more in controlling the amount of glue you want to dispense than avoiding blocked tip. The silicone cap string is also prone to breaking but again you can get replacement caps. It's good for delicate or repair jobs, but for large applications when you need lots of glue to flow, the factory glue bottles are just as good if not better.

I just pick the booger out and go on. You'll be surprised with how big it actually is. It can take a few thumps or flings to get it ff your finger too.
