<p>How it started. I added the plastic lattice because my kids thought crawling through the railing was a fun game. When I redid the floors, I left the extra space so I committed to this project.</p><p><br></p><p>[attachment=37915]<br></p><p><br></p><p>Now:</p><p><br></p><p>[attachment=37918]</p><p><br></p><p><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; display: inline !important; float: none;">[attachment=37917]</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>[attachment=37919]<br></p><p><br></p><p>[attachment=37916]<br></p>

Very nice.  I like the A&C details on the cabinet sides and back, and the "backsplash" around the top to keep stuff from falling off the back.  Very well thought out.  Now you can put down the baseboard trim!

"I like the A&C details on the cabinet sides and back,"

It took me a bit to figure out what to do with the back. It's such a large area that I didn't want one big flat panel or a bunch of ornate detail.
