Free large Craftsman Drill Press (santa rosa) - Bob10 - 02-18-2022 https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/zip/d/santa-rosa-free-large-craftsman-drill/7447539033.html It's old, it has surface rust, the motor runs, the spindle turns (with some reluctance), and it's very heavy. If you want to use this as a drill press, it will take need a little help. WD-40 and steel wool will help with the surface rust. You'll need to clean or polish the spindle to get it spinning smoothly. You'll probably want to re-wire the power cable as one of the conductors is exposed near the switch.
RE: Free large Craftsman Drill Press (santa rosa) - doobes - 02-18-2022 I've got a stand up version of that drill press. If you are in the area, grab it, they are excellent drill presses, particularly for the price. |
