Lathe-driven belt sander (Woodsmith no.220) - BobRyan - 08-04-2022
Made the jig and it turned out great, except can’t get the belt on with the cam lever released. It appears the Yoke & Idler Roller don’t retract back into the Tension Box to sit with no gap. From the picture of the finished product it only comes back to the tension position (approx 1” above the Tension Box). I think the pivot pin for the Lever is approx 1.5” too high. All other dimensions double-checked. Any ideas? Thanks, Bob
