Jared Greene Saws - enjuneer - 08-10-2022

Relatively new to the sawmaking scene having started his business in late 2021, Jared Greene has caught up quickly and is producing some amazing tools. As he was getting started, he asked lots of questions of established sawmakers and saw historians to get a handle on the technical details. He is a fan of Richardson Brothers saws and many of his products exhibit design features from that great old maker. My contribution to his effort was to explain some of the specific details for sharpening crosscut saw teeth.

The last time I chatted with him about his work, he told me that he has shipped over 100 saws in 2022 alone. He is adding equipment and refining processes to increase the volume of his one-man shop even further.

If you haven't seen his work, I encourage you to check it out at File & Hammer Saw Works.

I've been looking at the one's he has sold on the Can I Have It auction.  He does very nice work and they sell quickly.

Very nice!  I'd not heard of him before.  I was perusing his FB page and found some pics of a Disston Reagan Pattern No. 9 clone that was very well done.  Bad Axe has just introduced his version.  Always nice to see new sawmakers.  I hope his business remains viable.

Jared is also a first class guy to deal with, and he is very free with his information.
