I always though I shoulda got a Purple Heart for being wounded in VietNam. You get a Purple Heart for being wounded in action by the enemy in a war zone. I got punched out in the NCO Club by a fellow aircrew member. And yes, libations of an alcoholic sort were involved. Some might quibble the point; however, we WERE in a war zone, I DID get wounded, it WAS from enemy action (at the time, he was most definitely my enemy.) So there you have it.
