Sketchup Make & Cutlist Question - David Stone - 08-19-2022 I have no idea how to use this. I'm designing a pretty simple set of cabinets. Three carcasses, each with two uprights, a bottom and two stretchers. I just want to see how to lay it out on sheets of plywood. I'm using Sketchup Make, running Cutlist 4.1 extension. It keeps laying out my sheet parts on boards. I can't figure out how to tell it to do the layout on sheets. RE: Sketchup Make & Cutlist Question - David Stone - 08-20-2022 Never mind. Figured it out. RE: Sketchup Make & Cutlist Question - EightFingers - 08-20-2022 So what did you do? You have to add the word plywood, MDF, ply, etc. in the name of the component for CutList to know it's a sheet good component. It will then lay it out on the sheet good size of your choosing, separately from your lumber components. John RE: Sketchup Make & Cutlist Question - EightFingers - 08-21-2022 Thanks. Sounds like me setting a program for my cnc and forgetting where my datum is! |
