I like this guy and seems pretty truthful - Arlin Eastman - 08-31-2022 With what he has to share and tips and i learned some things from him what do you guys think? RE: I like this guy and seems pretty truthful - barryvabeach - 08-31-2022 I agreed with some of his points, though don't know that I learned anything new. I disagree on his take on sanding, I usually stop at 150 or 120, and don't recall ever going to 180. Maybe that is a personal preference. I rarely rip wood, so the table saw bandsaw didn't help me any. I agree about waterstones being a chore to soak and can be messy, though I use micro finishing film, and prefer that to any other system, though again that is personal preference. RE: I like this guy and seems pretty truthful - CStan - 09-01-2022 I want to see somebody sharpening their scorps, drawknives, and carving gouges on a $400++ ultrafine waterstone and doing it like they're not scared $hitless. |
