469 days... - OneStaple - 09-29-2022 ...is how long it took to receive an order for a woodworking related tool to restore a Wallace 8" jointer that I've been itching to use. Evidently the time was due to supply chain issues, and I don't blame the company, whom I respect and therefore am not naming. But good grief, that's a long time! Ok, done venting. Tyler RE: 469 days... - FrankAtl - 09-29-2022 That might be a record! Good luck on your restoration. RE: 469 days... - Handplanesandmore - 09-30-2022 If you can wait that long for something to restore the machine, it is a useless machine to start with. :-) :-) Simon RE: 469 days... - OneStaple - 09-30-2022 I know you jest, but 1) I'm slow on projects anyway and it's been a busy year, and 2) I haven't been able to get rid of the 6" jointer that it's supposed to replace, thus chewing up floor space. I'm excited to get it running! I'm excited to get it running! I never heard of a Wallace, but looked it up on OWWM and it is a very interesting design. Let us see the final product. |
