Not a real ACME, but as close as I can get here - Pedder - 02-16-2023 Hi Woodnetter, I posted a search entry for an ACME Saw vise a while ago. And still look for one. But since I visited another saw maker close to me - in Denmark - in Octobre, I learned that there are very sturdy cast iron saw vises in Europe, too. Ulmia band saw vises. Limited blade deepth, because they are made for Band saw blades, but heavy and sturdy and really good closing. I was lucky to find one on ebay (Ok not so lucky, but looking everyday since octobre).
