Which stripper to use for nitro lacquer - WoodworkerTom - 03-09-2024

Picked this up to refinish.  Had to carefully sand the drawers, ribbon magoghany and quartered teak veneer.  I need to strip the fluted columns on the sides.

Any recommendations on he best chemical stripper for this or a homemade mix?

NC lacquer should come off with nearly any commercial stripper, like KleanStrip Premium.  Plain lacquer thinner also should work on uncatalyzed NC lacquer.  Any of them should only be used outside and away from flames, etc.
