Union No. 41...from BEFORE Stanley ground off the "UNION" labels... Has both 5/16" cutters. Asking price was $100....got the 20% off Offer cut to 10%... A bit of chipping at the base of the knob...otherwise it is in fine shape.. Was that kind of a day, yesterday.. [attachment=50707] And..OUCH! [attachment=50708] Could have gotten a wooden Match set... [attachment=50709] But, went with the Union #41 instead... Simple rule: IF a tool is in one of these.. RE: NOT another $21 plane - bandit571 - 04-29-2024 That Union No. 41, has been sent out to have it's Nickel Plating redone....also along for the trip...A Stanley No. 39 . 3/8" Dado plane....thinking I can keep it shiny better, than having rust where the Japanning was getting worn off...Stanley might not have Nickel Plated them..but, I am not Stanley.... [attachment=50942] This is how they wound up....all nickel plated, and issues fixed.. [attachment=50943] Like bad bolts replaced, and a new nicker...and.. [attachment=50944] The front knob has been replaced...Old one was chipped up....Fence now also works much better.. Also, while out and about..picked the smaller of these 2.. [attachment=51487] Handle on the "new" Bevel Gauge is 4"...Price was $4..top one is a Sargent's Patent...Stanley called these both No. 18?
