snaking sewer pipe - varkpilot - 08-10-2024 City water and sewer. House built mid 70s; purchased in '86 As far as I know, the pipe to the street has never been snaked. "Don't mess with something that works" or OR get er done now before the cowchips hit the windmill????? Grew up when houses had cesspools....learned and still follow common sense when sending stuff to the sewer!! For those of you who have had it done, things I should know?? RE: snaking sewer pipe - branchacctg - 08-10-2024 Any trees with long roots possible? Mostly I'm in the "if it's working leave it alone" camp. YMMV Good luck with whatever decision you choose. RE: snaking sewer pipe - Snipe Hunter - 08-10-2024 You can rent a Sewer Scope and look inside before you get your snake stuck in it. A lot of home inspectors offer this service RE: snaking sewer pipe - fixtureman - 08-10-2024 Built in the 70's it should have solid piping RE: snaking sewer pipe - blackhat - 08-11-2024 Do you know when sewers block? Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving dinner, house full of wedding guests…..Contact a local service to have it camera’d and cleaned if required. Knowledge is power. |
