glue - mdickmann - 12-18-2024

HI
I need to glue two small pieces of plastic to gather.  They will be under stress.  Is there a preferred type of glue for this?  Just use epoxy?? gorilla glue??
Thanks

Mark

Would be helpful to know the type of plastic when inquiring about a process like this HOWEVER this line of adhesives night work for you https://starbond.com/collections/ca-glue?srsltid=AfmBOopfxBnnP1qZU-D8SZLzsLPKO568MEKWtvKezT-wWdSJxxzevZcj
Always best to consult the manufacturer first especially if the service is critical to your design.

Depending on what kind of plastic it is, you might want to use plastic model cement. It actually does a "weld", by dissolving the plastic a little and then curing. But again, that depends on what kind of plastic it is.
