Posted 12/26/24 - cpolubin - 12-26-2024 Let's see how long this stays on the front page. Just for giggles. Sure ain't the same as it used to be huh? Well to liven things up, here's a toobox I helped my son build over the holidays. [attachment=53456] And here are some handles I made for a chopping knife... [attachment=53457] The chopping knife was an idea from Chris Schwarz. it's used like a froe, or for splitting small blanks of wood at the workbench. I bought a Klein tools knife for cutting sheathing but it had plastic handles and everyone knows that won't do for proper hand tool wood working. Now that I've posted a hand-tool topic in the general WW section, lets fight about my post for 3 pages before a mod comes in to lock the thread like in the good old days. RE: Posted 12/26/24 - ajkoontz - 01-10-2025 Ok, one handle, two knife scales. Got the scales from my local Woodcraft. They look like rosewood but they're not. RE: Posted 12/26/24 - Gary G™ - 01-10-2025 Fine looking toolbox but there’s a thread for pictures. Why didn’t you use it? ![]() |
