Maybe some drawers under the bench would help to. I know when Ray helped me make mine the drawers were 34" wide to hold all the turning tools and cabinets to hold everything else instead of scattered all over but now in one place. Thank God for that since I got so tired of going all over the shop. RE: Corner Workbench Completed! - stav - 05-16-2025 That's a nice work surface. Its a bit naked without a vise of some sort though. RE: Corner Workbench Completed! - grwold - 05-16-2025 The under-cabinet lights are a really good choice. The wood is red oak and plywood. The red oak came from a tree that I had to have cut down on our property about 12 years ago. I had it cut into lumber and put it in our barn where it has been drying for 12 years. I figured I might as well use it for something so I used it for the bench. I plan to hang tools on the plywood. Re the vice: I plan on building another bench for that. |
