I seldom use dozuki, usually opting for tatebiki (single sided rip) for things like dovetails; but generally, Japanese saws of all sorts amaze me everytime I use them.[br][br]Pam

No, don't remember that particular song, but it sure applies in today's technological warp speed. I mean, what will happen to Rolex now that the Apple has shipped? Personally, I hate wearing any watch...

That's one of the most beautiful saws I've ever seen. Almost too bad I've got all the saws I can use; but I can't help but think that if I used western saws I wouldn't be able to resist your offering....

Is there some reason you didn't simply use something that approximated a sticking board (your two block fences?) so you could plane the bench top while it was laying down?[br][br]Pam
