These mods have been a long time in the making. First, came the 30 gal fiber drum for a pre-separator.  It has a Thien baffle inside. Second I added the Wynn pleated filter. Link with more pics...

Update 2: 1. As I mentioned above, one issue that the repair guy found was that he thought the switch that transitions from 110v to 220v was bad, and he broke the switch in the process of getting it ...
