Well, Yes of course, the glue will help. OSB, especially pocket holed OSB seems like a really bad choice. OSB is good in compression and shear, and really nothing else. Meaning you can stack stuff ... |

Density and weight are the easy way. Cherry is much heavier than the alder. Alder is really light weight. |
