Take a look at the Veritas inset vise. It's a smaller wagon vise that's easier to install. Might get you to where you want to be.

I have one on my Pcs. I use it for two things. I can set a stop for a cut I may need to repeat. And when I'm trying to get a specific size I use the screw to dial it in.

We must be looking at different hoses. The one I have is fairly light and extremely flexible. It may be an older version. It's black and came with the screw on adapters.

My optometrist carries them. They aren't displayed on the wall with the normal frames. If you do a search for Lenscrafters safety glasses you'll find them.
