Thank you all. Once upon a time I considered asking Bad Axe to make a replacement for this saw. Fortunately I never acted on it, since I knew this would turn up eventually. I’m sure it’s nothing spe... |

Thanks Dave, first pass was a maroon pad with PB Blaster, 2nd pass was a maroon pad with Ballistol. Nothing more seems to want to come off, even with a razor blade.
Oh, and I was in a hurry, sorry a... |

Thread: Miter saw
Post: Miter saw
For years, I've been looking for the miter saw that goes with my Dad's Stanley miter box. I knew I had it somewhere but I haven't been able to find it since 2004 when I cleaned out their house. The ... |

Another vote for Skrooz-on (or however it's spelled). I treated all mine with BLO, they feel great in the hand. |

Thread: Grinders - Tell me what I need
Post: RE: Grinders - Tell me what I need
What I've found is that I really want two grinders plus a buffer/polisher. One high-speed grinder for general repair/homeowner tasks (this is what I have now, in 6" but wish it were 8"), and an 8" sl... |

Thread: Spraying stain?
Post: RE: Spraying stain?
When my house was built, the painter sprayed all the interior pine trim (baseboards, shoe, casings, cabinets - you name it) with plain old solvent based Minwax stain followed by satin poly, all with a... |

Thread: Which 40v or 24v yard tools should I get?
Post: RE: Which 40v or 24v yard tools should I get?

Oh my - I love that! It's the perfect piece for that spot, with a perfect finish, and now that I see it in place - I think the table would be somehow less without the knot (or without the color varia... |

I'd love to see the final pics. The ones from your 10/25 post aren't displaying for me.
I wouldn't have chosen a knot board for such a piece, but even without the final finish I think it looks great... |

You're welcome. When you receive them you'll see why they cost what they do. They're the LN/LV of pill fobs. They have larger sizes too. |

Wow, I'm glad you're OK!
My wife and I both keep one of these on our key chains, containing three Bayer 325's plus a small wad of cotton in the bottom and in the lid to protect them:
