Those Cherry boards are my sons first project. A box for 4H. We are working with all hand tools, he already hates knots and loves straight grain.

Looks like a C.F. Shaw shave. They operated in Worcester, Mass circa 1883-1890. That model is likely completely unmarked on either body or cutter. Nice find![br]David

Colonial Homestead in Millersburg, ohio is a hand tool Mecca definately worth a trip out of the way to see. The store is dedicated to vintage handtools and packed.
