Well it may be me; but a lot of folks seam to have problems. It does brush OK, but wipes far easier and sprays easiest of all. I hate to see folks shy away from a very useful family of finishes. |

I am a non-fan of filler. Iike wood that looks like wood. Crystalac does; but it's expensive and a PITA. |

Unfortunately that test was nvalid. Moden gluees as used are much stronger than the wod so what was measured was the glued area of the wood. Unless you are into timber construction the question is ... |

+1 for the domino. More flexible and usable by far then the regular mortisers. Try puting mortises in a 4x5' panel or at compound angles. If you want an occasional M&T then by all means get one... |

I use a Griot's 6" polisher and Griot's Garage Machine Polish 4–6 depending. Can be messy. Sand shellac @ 400 grit by hand with the grain. |

IMHO you can spray with GF Enduro Clear Poly or Conversion Varnish (https://generalfinishes.com/professional-products/water-base-topcoats-and-sanding-sealers) whenever convenient. |
