General Finishes Enduro Var has a tint in it. Their High Performance is clear. The Enduro Var goes on fine with a brush and dries in 4 hours or so. I haven't tried the High Performance.

Woodmizer has some interesting units, didn't know they made resaw machines. I don't know anything about their customer service though.

True the stone to the tool support. Adjust the clamping pressure on the jig. Slightly loosen 1 screw and tighten the other until you get an even grind. The new SE-77 Square edge jig is easier to use...

You should have the blade inspected by a sharpening service. There could be a fracture that may cause a tooth to fly off in use.

That is 8x4, 4x8 would have long grain. BB is good 2 sides, B/BB would have footballs on one side, BB/BB would have footballs on both sides.

Cut it in half or thirds first, then cut your 12" pieces. No need for a helper.
