You could get an estimate from a professional to repair it. If the mover or insurer pays full replacement value, they will own the damaged piece. They may or may not bother to take it. |

How about drilling #1&2 all the way through to the inside of the wall in the closet, and then use 6" bolts fastened on the back side with nuts and fender washers. |

I had that saw and hated it. Ended up dumping it (at a garage sale, I think) and buying a Bosch 1591...have been a happy jigsawer ever since. Moral: move on. |

The "new" Delta still makes the 14-651. You might look at the diagram on their parts site on Deltamachinery.com to see if that part is similar and available. |
