I use the Fastcap "Speed Skate" to move sheet goods around the shop.  It is a lot like Willyou's idea.

I have always felt Blum hinges were top of the line hinges and slides. Blum offers a soft close that attach to the some of there hinge. I think that there is one that screws the cabinet wall.

Nice work as always. That door will last another 100 years. I use 1/4" radius hinges so I do not have to square the corners. That door was way out of square.

I replace the batteries about once a year. The Wixey shuts it's self-off after awhile. My Sure DRO remains on.

An old fart years ago told me to soak the head and mounted handle in anti-freeze for a couple of days. It works as long as the handle is not too loose.
