I found these guys: Bolt Depot (https://boltdepot.com/) Only $5 shipping for 50each #8 x 1" flat head wood screws. About $11 total. No experience with them tho.

I have maybe a 150 or so FWW issues stacked up in the basement. Wife wants them gone, and I haven't touched them in years...but I can't seem to pull that trigger.

Good info Neil.  Say a house has existing soffit and gable vents, and a roofer adds a ridge vent. Shouldn't the gable vents be boarded up for better airflow? It's an ongoing discussion in our neigh...

Tom, mine is very similar to yours. My frame has no perimeter, just the cross pieces, which are 2x4s with snug half lap joints. That way I can knock it apart for storage. The long 2x4s cradle in notch...
