I only know of two 1:6 dovetail cutters. One has a 28mm cutting diameter, 50mm cutting depth. The other, 15mm dia. and 27mm depth. Would either of those work? |

You could make a tambour top with thick slats so they are stiff enough to use as a desktop. :) |

If you want the front flap to be flush with the underside of the top it can't be flush with the edge when in the open position as you show it.
For both hinges you could use continuous hinges, also ... |
