Thread: Miter Gauge Compare
Post: RE: Miter Gauge Compare
I had not heard of either the Goingmake or the Hongdui. I looked up the Goingmake unit and it does look like a very good buy. I'm not in the market for one, but that one seems worth considering. |

I used "Wet and Forget" on our single roof, and it really worked well to clear the black algae. What I'm not sure of is when you would apply it to a metal roof, it has to sit for a little while and th... |

Not sure of the Long Ranger 2 has swiutch settings, the one I had (LR 1) did not. You could make your own remotes using a contactor, they in turn use those simple $10 lamp remotes to power the DC on/o... |

As a fellow Dewalt fan, I love what you did. I'm also jealous of that big saw. |

My suggestion is to stick with the good stuff, and here's what might save you some money (with a little driving). Go to Frank Miller lumber in Union City IN (right on the Ohio border) and set your sel... |

Thread: adhesive for outdoor firring strips
Post: RE: adhesive for outdoor firring strips
I'm betting the adhesive problem is due to the moisture in the treated wood. I'm not sure there is an adhesive I would trust with the wet wood, it needs to be dry. |

As a couple of folks suggested, the dutchman would be my approach. It's not prefect but far better than any filler attempt I've ever made. |

It's been interesting to follow this, I wouldn't have thought of a rubbed wire as being the problem. Glad you got it fixed. |

John hit it, a whole house system that costs $20K is likely plated in gold. Ours is 7 years old and was $6K back then. That was for everything, the genny, transfer switch and installation. |

You'll find ammonia is much better for clean up of shellac than the solvents. They (solvents) just dissolve and dilute the shellac, takes a lot of rinses to get it all out of spray guns and such. OTOH... |
