Going too fast on a jointer will create scallops-no matter how sharp the blades. Just go slow and steady.

2 for me - mm16 - with 1" carbide blade for resawing and a delta 14" with a 3/8 blade for almost everything else. jerry

no reason not to finish before the gluing - i usually finish the insides and blue tape the glue joints for the glue-up jerry

soak in simple green for 15+- minutes. use a soft brass brush to clean the teeth - rinse of with water - blow the the water off with air compressor - dry with a towel jerry

agree with the 1" blade vs the 1.25. i use an iturra tension gauge to set a 1" resaw king to 29k psi on my mm16 without a problem - jerry
