Post: RE: Plunge base for PC 690LR type 2 router

The 6931 is the plunge base for that router. Type 1, Type 2, or Type 8 will all work just fine; as was noted earlier, the "Type" change was minimal. I just sold one earlier today on eBay for $81....

Nice!  Can I ask what you paid?  I spotted one of a similar vintage in the wild recently myself, but it's been over a decade since my last restoration. I also don't need another table saw right now, b...

Post: Mobile base suggestion for large bandsaw?

I've had the Grizzly G0514x (i.e. 19") bandsaw for several years and initially outfitted it with the Rockler mobile base in which you add your own wood to make it to the dimensions you need. Over time...

I'm getting back into woodworking after being away for a couple of years and was shocked to learn that Porter Cable is exiting the router market (at least in full-size routers, as opposed to the trimm...
