Got one just like it hanging on the wall in my shop.  I cheated and put a bunch of carpet tacks in the "magazine".  It makes it a little easier to identify.

Put you dowels in the microwave.  Yes, it will shrink them, if they have swollen from excess moisture. 9/16" is bigger than 1/2" :winkgrin:

I have not heard much about the emerald cherry borer, but the emerald ash bore. . . and the efforts to destroy it . . . have all but eliminated the ability to buy ash in this area. ;)

A really handy option is to remove the small tube from the overflow tube and place it under the edge of the tank lid - pointing out.  This is especially helpful when visiting a friend hosting a party....
