Friend asked me to build this simple record player stand.  Close up pic seems like they just screwed the top on.  Does this type of joinery allow for wood movement?  If not any tips on how to design f...

If you're good with skechup you can also export an svg and use that on Vcarve. That's what I've been doing lately. Nothing complicated. I'm not that great at skechup

  0 Thread: 6” or 7” ducting?
Post: RE: 6” or 7” ducting?

So I ended up buying 6" spiral ducting.  The calculations I got seemed to indicate the longest run I had would yield similar cfms.  I guess I'll know for sure after I put it together and slap an anemo...

Post: RE: 6” or 7” ducting?

Based on the table above and the parameters they used (8” flexible hose at 128” long) it seems like 8” provided the largest cfm and fastest velocity. Unless I’m missing something and didn’t read it pr...

How do you calculate what the expected pressure drop will be at a machine for a given pipe diameter.  I have an Anemometer so I can measure the actual cfm at my DC.  Below are the specs for the curren...
