Some pegboard, and I buy the 'good' hooks that lock in.
3" screws, that screw into 1/2" ply.
Self made wall brackets for the heavier tools, such as clamps. |

I highly suggest to build wooden box to securely house a hand plane. I use 1/2" sides with 1/4" ply for top and bottom. Bottom is glued and nailed, top is screwed on.
