White cedar dries very quickly. When wet it is a pain to plane. Sticker it, run a fan on it will speed up the process.

I picked up a used bakers rack- used in restaurants to hold trays and cookie sheets. Foot print is about 24 x 20. Plywood makes doe great shelves, holds may of the small parts cases

Thanks for the input. It is An LP unit 199k btu from what I can tell. The guy says he upgraded because it is LP only and natural gas was run in his area

I keep the shims even from each side- otherwise the frame will not be square to the wall. Yes- put shims behind the hinges/ and run at least one long screw into the studs, do not rely on only the door...

How about running a snake in until you hit the obstruction. Figure out where the problem is and then dig down to the pipe and repair it??
