my parents did this with their kitchen cabinets  --  just a different approach. they actually went with painted sliding doors, so was a pretty simple process. just throwing it out as another option....

i've got a B&D 40v trimmer, and it's great.  also, the hedge-trimmer is pretty awesome too . . . was actually very surprised by the power of that thing.   :yes:
