That's cool, good stuff. If it won't break, I'd leave the overhang as is. I like the open look. Very nice progress.

I'd be concerned about breakage of the countertop. I'm not real familiar with quartz but most rocks if you hit them just right will break on a line like where the cabinet stops supporting the stone.

The spalted wood looks really neat.  It would make a nice lid top or similar.   Only you can decide on what's best for you.  Take it easy and get better.

Never had Ryan's but I do like an Irish cream. I also like Therafluu for bad colds.  Not mixed with Irish cream though. Hope you get better soon.

It looks like a nice table. I agree, that it wouldn't hurt to have some static photos along with the video.  Never saw a woodshop with a drum kit in it.
