Thread: Eurekazone shutting down
Post: RE: Eurekazone shutting down
Sad but not surprising. Everyone has a dedicated track saw these days. Just saw that even Ryobi released one. It would be hard to complete in that space for a small shop now. |

Thread: Belt / Disc sander modification
Post: RE: Belt / Disc sander modification
Not to diminish your efforts, but it all looks pretty straight forward. You have to wonder why the manufacturer wouldn't add those things (aside from the obvious of cost savings on their part). |

I've had both styles of the Unifence, although my old one had an aluminum rail still so maybe it was a transitional. There were no t-track slots in the back for positioning though (kind of a pain). T... |

There is always the home grown option for the Unifence as well. The "Bigafence" is something I was planning to build at one time when I had more time to do it.

I don't recall ever seeing that drawer clip in any of your builds before. Very interesting. Is that something you did to address something specific for this table? |

The splitter on my Unisaw has a thumb screw. No tools needed. I guess it depends on which one you get. I've had mine so long I can't recall which it is.
On another note, there are some very cr... |

Looks great.
If you hadn't called out that front board as not being the same as the other visible pieces, I never would have guessed it. |

I have a Unifence on my Unisaw and I wouldn't spend the money to change from the Unifence to the Bessy fence. There is a lot that either can do that the other cannot. I'd check out some YouTube videos... |

I haven't seen those things on a car in ages. Not sure you can buy them new anymore. Maybe a junk yard if you are open to recycled parts. Otherwise, could a narrow detail broom do it for you as a s... |

We had a pet indoor rabbit and his vertical leap from standstill was really good. I would go with a 3' minimum. |

I'd make sure everything moves smoothly without the worm gear in there in all directions. Then I would check the worm gear and the mating gear for any loose/broken teeth. |

I don't know for sure but it seems like you would have to do something with the drum to round out the slots where the blades go otherwise you might get an uneven surface. |

Checking in to see if this project ever grew legs and if that Belsaw worked as a drum sander. I have one as well that might be up to the conversion. |
