Just saw this on Ask This Old House, where they built a box and finished it with polyurethane glue, and applied a coat of wax. Very interesting. |

I did that, ripping my finger about an inch. I was surprised at the healing process, no stitches, just keeping it wrapped in saline soaked gauze and plastic wrap. You can see the skin/tissue regenera... |

Would go with Sherwin Williams over Behr paint. Behr paint does not hold up well, painted a porch railing a couple years ago and the paint is peeling. |
