Ok I went and checked its a craftsman model 351.217150 gotta be 20 years old. Spindle is 1"x 8 it's 38" max turning width and it says max bowl diameter is 15" thanks for any add infromation

Being a cook and a woodworker i dont put grooves on any boards i make. If your slicing something you expect to juice a lot i just put it in a sheet pan

i always score it with a sharp box cutter and snap it off, made lots of picture frames like that,clean cut too. use my straight edge to assure clean break.
