I was told by a machinist & woodworker friend....No problem using an endmill on wood, as long as its new and never touched steel.
For some reason, it won't cut good in wood.

Ime...clamp panels and layout screw locations.
Drill screw holes.
Screw together, then remove.

Never needed any accessories for mine.
3/4 stock gets a 6mm domino.
Depending on what you make....the 4mm size has saved me a few times.

Jackshaft openers are a pita to get to work on a regular overhead door, I have 2, I know.
They need tension on the cables at ALL times. The track ends have to be raised a few inches to provide this.
