If you have a shooting board, you can adjust on ~ 0.001 increments.

A rip-flip can be handy for the short term, however, I do not see that it will do anything a DRO will not A DRO will allow you to compensate for different blades and still return to the same settings...

If you want to do chisels, then nothing beats the Veritas MK II small chisel unit, IMNSHO. The regular MK II does pretty much everything including a full range of skew angles. I like the new Veritas...

Neither a band saw nor a track saw will kick back dangerously the way a table saw wwil. The bandsaw will be easier to use as a ripper.
