A rainy Saturday, Catching up on some watch-strap leather work and shoe-heel rubber work. A nice cutting edge gets 90% of the trimming done,  then I'll move to power sanding equipment.

Also,  most drill bits will wear down very fast on a hardened roll-pin.   A small carbide Dremel tip might help remove some of the inner diameter.   This can be very tedious!

Good Observations, Sir I also find the Bailey pattern frogs work really nice if I set them to make a continuous "ramp" from the frog through the plane base.   That is, I position my frog a bit back...

It's perfect !!! When I cut guitar fret slots this year, I was so relieved to use a thin pull-saw rather than a power tool.

Yes -- but only for original Titebond I type:   he loosens it with heat (& possibly moisture).     He does say he can't loosen the Titebond 2/ 3 PVA glue types this way.
