Son in law has some Corian he needs cut. Would I be OK using an 80 tooth Freud Lam/plywood blade? Can't see spending $100 for their solid surface blade for this one job.

MDF is not a great choice for possible future water leaks. Get plywood with the smoothest finish layer. That makes painting easier. Prime and coat both sides, as was said. |

Totally agree with Holmes on the floor drain, etc. But as I pointed out earlier, a new install should include checking the strength of the floor structure . Some of Cooler's ideas are good as well. |
