I agree with you (I realize his skill level is above mine, but that doesn't mean he's above reproach).
I thought it was almost common knowledge that a sharper edge lasted longer. |

For mine, I wanted 24" between screws because I figured that would be the widest thing I would dovetail.
Edit:duh width. I just did 4" width hard maple since it's what I had on hand. |

Highland sold them until the pandemic. The reason woodcraft does not sell them is complicated.
Hopefully they can catch up enough to offer them through resellers again. |
