If it's a tool I don't have, I'll lean toward the cordless. But I'm too cheap to replace a tool just because it has a cord.

What kind of tool are you talking about? When I google Dunlop #3, I get hits for tires, golf clubs, and guitar picks. But nothing that looks like a tool.
